GramG Ninja: do your VBGRAMG portal work in one click (free add-on)

If you work on the VBGRAMG (VB-G RAM G) portal every day, you already know the pain: the same details typed again and again, hundreds of checkboxes, files uploaded one by one, reports that open so slowly you can make tea while you wait. GramG Ninja is a free add-on for Chrome and Edge that does all of that boring work for you — usually in one click. And everything happens inside your own browser, so none of your data ever leaves your computer.

This guide explains, in plain language, what GramG Ninja does, how to install it, and how to use each of its tools. No technical knowledge needed.

What GramG Ninja can do

It is really five tools in one add-on. You can use only the ones you need.

• Work Demand (Form 4A) bulk entry — enter a whole Excel sheet of demands in one click.
• One-click certificate upload — fill all 8 certificate blocks and attach all 8 PDFs on the Work Entry page.
• Reports → Excel / CSV — turn any portal report into a clean spreadsheet.
• Join reports & caste lookup — combine two reports on a common key (for example, add each worker's caste).
• Wage-list caste breakup — see the amount split by caste (Others / SC / ST) on any wage list.

1. Work Demand (4A) — Excel in, demands entered

This is the feature everyone asks for. Instead of registering a demand for each worker by hand, you keep the list in a simple Excel sheet and GramG Ninja enters every row for you — it picks each registration, fills the date and number of days, and clicks Proceed. An hour of clicking becomes one click.

Good things to know:

• It resumes. If the portal is slow or drops, it picks up where it left off and never enters the same demand twice.
• Your sheet is the boss. It clears old dates first, so only the workers in your sheet keep a demand. To fix a mistake, just correct the sheet and run again.
• The sheet is simple — four columns: Reg No · Applicant · Work From · No of Days. A ready-made template is on the tool page.

2. One-click certificate upload (Work Entry page)

The Work Entry page asks for the same signing details in 8 certificate blocks and a separate PDF upload for each. GramG Ninja fills all 8 blocks with your details and attaches all 8 PDFs from one folder — in a single click.

• Set your details once (name, designation, department, mobile, email) — they are remembered for every work entry.
• Big scans are shrunk for you on your own PC to fit the server's ~1 MB limit (for example 1.80 MB → 0.62 MB).
• You stay in control — nothing is submitted until you click the page's own Save.

3. Turn slow reports into clean Excel

VBGRAMG report downloads are really web pages, so they open painfully slowly in Excel. GramG Ninja pulls the table out of any report (job cards, muster rolls, wage lists) into a clean CSV or JSON file — and its “Clean” mode removes menus, totals and blank rows and fills in the merged “group” cells.

4. Join two reports (and add caste)

You can link two reports on a common key — like Job Card number, a date, or even a close-enough name — to build the sheet you actually need. A common example: add each worker's caste from the Registration Application Register. Save a join once and re-run it in a single click next time.

5. Wage-list caste breakup

On any wage list, GramG Ninja shows the total amount split by caste — Others / SC / ST — with a Copy button, and it checks the total against the number already on the page so you know it is correct.

How to install (about 1 minute)

1. Open the GramG Ninja page on the Chrome Web Store (works in Chrome and Microsoft Edge).
2. Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension. The ninja icon appears in your toolbar.
3. Click the icon and type your signing details once. Now open the portal — the tools appear on the right pages.

Is it safe? Where does my data go?

• It is not a government tool. It is an independent helper that only speeds up the clicks you already do. You stay in control and click Save yourself.
• Your details stay on your PC. Signing details and file compression happen on your own machine — nothing is sent to any server.
• It only wakes up on the portal. The tools appear only on the VBGRAMG portal pages and do nothing on other websites.

Common questions

How do I name the certificate PDFs? Put all 8 in one folder and make sure each file name contains its block number 1 to 8 (for example 1.pdf, 02.pdf, cert-3.pdf).

My scan is bigger than 1 MB — what happens? It is shrunk automatically to fit. If a file still cannot fit, it is flagged so you can replace it with a clearer scan.

Do I have to type my details every time? No — enter them once; they are remembered across restarts and updates.

Does it submit the form for me? No. It only fills the fields and attaches files. You review everything and click the page's own Save.

What do I need? Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and your usual VBGRAMG login. Nothing else.
