Certificate Uploader — 8 blocks in one click

On the VB-G RAM G Work Entry page, fill all 8 certificate blocks with your signing details and attach every PDF — in a single click, instead of typing the same details eight times and uploading eight files by hand.

  • 8 PDFs in one click
  • Matches files 1–8
  • Auto-compress scans
  • Chrome & Edge
  • 100% Free

The Certificate Uploader ships inside the GramG Ninja add-on. Don't have the certificates yet? Make all 8 as PDFs first with the free Certificate Generator.

Workflow: Step 1 — generate the 8 PDFs with the Certificate Generator. Step 2 — upload them to the portal here, in one click.

What it does

  • Fills all 8 certificate blocks in one click — the same signing-authority Name / Designation / Department / Mobile / Email goes into every one of the 8 blocks.
  • Set your details once — entered once in the add-on's settings popup and remembered across restarts and updates (and synced to your Chrome account when signed in, so they survive a reinstall and carry to another PC).
  • Attaches all 8 PDFs from one folder — pick a folder once; each PDF is matched to its block by the number 1–8 in its file name (scheme codes and years are ignored; keyword names like split.pdf, dpr.pdf, permissible.pdf also work).
  • DPR and Convergence set to “Yes” automatically — blocks 6 and 7 are switched to Yes so their uploads are accepted.
  • Confirm before filling — after you pick the folder, the panel shows exactly which PDF landed in each block (green = matched) so you can verify first.
  • Auto-compresses oversized scans — the server accepts ~1 MB per PDF; files over the limit are re-rendered smaller locally on your PC (pdf.js + jsPDF), shown as e.g. 3.pdf · 1.80 MB → 0.62 MB ✓. Files already under the limit keep their original quality.
  • Blocks Fill if a file still can't fit — an un-shrinkable file is marked “too big”, Fill is disabled, and the message names it so you can swap in a clearer scan.
  • You stay in control — the tool only fills the form and attaches files; nothing is submitted until you click the page's own Save.
  • Private & offline — everything runs inside your browser; your details and PDFs never leave your PC. Only active on the Work Entry page (…/vbgramg/work_entry.aspx).

How to use it (every work entry)

  1. Prepare the PDFs — put all 8 certificate PDFs in one folder; each file name must contain its block number 1–8. Keep each around 1 MB (oversized scans are compressed for you).
  2. Set your signing details once — click the toolbar icon and enter Name, Designation, Department, Mobile, Email. They're reused for every block on every work entry.
  3. Open the Work Entry page and choose the work category / heads / village yourself. The blue “GramG Ninja · Certificate Auto-Fill” panel appears top-right.
  4. Click ① Choose certificate folder… — the panel reveals the 1–8 mapping (green ticks) and compresses any oversized scans to fit.
  5. Click ② Fill form — all 8 blocks are filled, DPR & Convergence set to Yes, and the 8 PDFs attached. A “Done” message appears.
  6. Check the form, then click the page's own Save. Nothing is submitted until you do.

Requirements

  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and your usual VB-G RAM G login.
  • Active only on *.dord.gov.in/vbgramg/work_entry.aspx; does nothing on other sites.

Frequently asked questions

How should I name the 8 PDF files?

Put all 8 in one folder and make sure each file name contains its block number 1 to 8 (for example 1.pdf, 02.pdf, or cert-3.pdf). Scheme codes and years are ignored, and keyword names like split.pdf or dpr.pdf also work. After you pick the folder the panel shows which PDF matched each block, so you can confirm before filling.

My scan is larger than 1 MB — what happens?

The server accepts about 1 MB per PDF. The tool compresses oversized scans automatically, on your PC, and shows the new size (e.g. 1.80 MB → 0.62 MB ✓). Only oversized files are touched. If one still can't fit it's marked “too big”, Fill is blocked, and the message names it so you can replace it with a smaller scan.

Why are the DPR and Convergence blocks set to “Yes”?

Blocks 6 (DPR preparation) and 7 (Convergence clearance) need a “Yes” for their uploads to be accepted, so the tool sets both to Yes automatically and attaches files 6 and 7. If a work genuinely doesn't need one, change that block to “No” on the page and remove its file after filling.

Do I have to type my details for every block / every entry?

No. You enter Name, Designation, Department, Mobile and Email once in the add-on's settings. The same details fill all 8 blocks and are remembered across restarts and updates.

Does it submit the Work Entry form for me?

No. The tool only fills the 8 blocks and attaches the 8 PDFs. You review everything and click the Work Entry page's own Save button yourself — nothing is uploaded until you do.

Is it safe? Where do my details and PDFs go?

Everything runs inside your own browser. Your signing details stay on your PC, and PDF compression happens locally on your machine — nothing is sent to any online service. The add-on only activates on the VB-G RAM G Work Entry page. See the privacy policy.

A block shows “no PDF matched”.

Rename that PDF so its block number 1–8 (or a keyword) is in the name, then click “Choose a different folder” again — the mapping stays open on a partial match so you can fix it.
