Bank Account Entry — any bank per person

On Add/Edit Commercial/RRB Bank, Branch, Ac NO. details of workers, stop picking the bank and branch again for every worker. Type the job card from the passbook copy, or paste a list, and GramG Ninja enters each person with their own bank and branch — one Update each.

  • Job card from the passbook
  • IFSC fills bank & branch
  • Paste from Excel
  • Accounts from supervisors
  • GP & PO login
  • 100% Free

🆕 Coming in GramG Ninja 12.0.0 — built and tested on the portal, on its way to the Chrome Web Store. Already have GramG Ninja? It updates by itself once 12.0.0 is published; the version is shown at the foot of every GramG Ninja panel.

Bank accounts carry the wages. Check every A/C and IFSC against the passbook before you press Start; the panel checks the page again before each Update, but it can’t check the passbook for you.

What this tool does

  • Add one by one from the passbook copy — type the job card written on it (9/172 is enough in the GP login) and pick the person from the family. What the portal already has fills in.
  • Or paste a whole list — from Excel, WhatsApp or a typed note (format below).
  • IFSC fills the bank — and the branch is chosen on the portal for each person, so people with different banks and branches go in the same session.
  • A card per person — collapsible, with the job card and name on top and pills when the name or A/C differs from the portal or there is no A/C yet.
  • One Update per person — only that person ticked, A/C typed twice, name, then a full check of the page before Update. The portal’s answer is shown on the card.
  • 📥 From supervisors — account details the supervisors sent through the Supervisor App and you verified come in as cards with the 📷 passbook photo; after Update the result goes back to the app.

Paste format

One person per line. The full job card number is required; the rest is optional and can be in any order, separated by spaces, tabs, commas or |:

ColumnExampleNotes
Job cardWB-06-003-006-009/172Required, full number. Hyphens and spaces are optional; /72 reads as /072.
Applicant no31 or 2 digits. Without it, the name picks the person, or you pick from the family.
NameSUSMITA MURMUGoes to the portal as the name in the bank.
IFSCIDIB000D53311 characters; the bank comes from it.
A/C number123456789016 to 18 digits; checked against the bank’s allowed lengths.

Examples — each line works on its own:

WB-06-003-006-009/172	3	SUSMITA MURMU	IDIB000D533	12345678901
WB-06-003-006-002/172, Bibha Kamle, SBIN0012450, 40123456789
WB-06-003-006-013/172 | 2 | PUNB0RRBBGB | 7012345678901
WB-06-003-006-018/45 4
WB-06-003-006-011/155 Lakshman Bag

The first line is five Excel columns copied as they are. A line with only a job card and an applicant no (or a name) brings what the portal has, to check or complete on the card. Lines without a job card are listed as not read, never guessed.

How to use it

  1. Install GramG Ninja (button above). Open Add/Edit Commercial/RRB Bank, Branch, Ac NO. details of workers from the portal menu. In the block login, pick the GP in the panel.
  2. Add people one by one from the passbook copies, paste the list, or press 📥 From supervisors. Each person is looked up on the portal.
  3. Check each card against the passbook (IFSC, A/C, name), then press Start and confirm.

Account Required — ask the supervisors

On Generate Wagelist, the portal holds back people whose account is not frozen. GramG Ninja’s Account Required panel lists them all. Press 📨 Ask supervisors for account details: the supervisors of that GP get the request in the GramG Ninja Supervisor App, photograph the passbook and send the A/C and IFSC. Nobody is asked twice. Workers who already have an A/C are ticked by default, so their details are checked too; untick anyone you don’t need.

Keep a person in the loop. Automated entry can make mistakes; the tool assists, it does not replace you. Use at your own responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

What can I paste?

One person per line: the full job card number, then any of applicant no, name, IFSC and account number, in any order and separated by spaces, tabs, commas or |. Columns copied from Excel work as they are. A job card alone is fine too: the panel looks it up and you pick the person from the family.

Whose name goes to the portal?

A name in your pasted list is used as the name in the bank, as given (titles like Sri or Smt are dropped, and the portal takes only English letters, spaces and dots). With no name, the worker’s name from the portal is used. Every card shows a pill when the name or the A/C differs from what the portal already has.

Does it pick the bank and branch for me?

Yes, from the IFSC. Type or paste the IFSC and the bank and branch are chosen on the portal for that person. For a bank whose branches share one IFSC (West Bengal Gramin Bank: PUNB0RRBBGB), pick the branch on the card once.

Can different people have different banks?

Yes. Each person is entered with their own Update: one tick, their bank and branch, A/C typed twice and the name, all checked again right before Update. The portal’s answer is shown on each card.

How do account details come from the supervisors?

On Generate Wagelist, the Account Required panel lists the people whose account is not frozen. Ask supervisors for account details sends them a request in the GramG Ninja Supervisor App (nobody is asked twice). The supervisor photographs the passbook and sends the A/C and IFSC; you check it against the photo in the app and mark it verified. It then waits in Bank Account Entry under From supervisors, with the photo.

Which login?

Both. In the GP login the job card can be as short as 9/172. In the block (PO) login, pick the GP beside the box first, because the same short number exists in every GP.
