🆕 Coming in GramG Ninja 10 — built and tested on the portal, on its way to the Chrome Web Store. Already have GramG Ninja? It updates by itself once version 10 is published; the version is shown at the foot of every GramG Ninja panel.
What this tool does
- IF works only — the panel lists only IF work codes (other categories’ attendance comes from the mobile app). Search, tick, Tick shown / Untick all.
- Full or first N days — every listed worker present on every day, or on days 1 to N.
- Only ended muster rolls — a muster roll still running is skipped (“period not over”); one without workers or without a Work Start Date is skipped too, with the reason.
- Checked before Save — right before Save, every worker’s day boxes are read again; on any mismatch nothing is saved and the reason is logged.
- Log — work code, muster roll number, period, workers, days marked and the result, as Excel. Stop and resume any time.
How to use it
- Install GramG Ninja (button above) and open Muster Roll Attendance Only from the portal menu.
- Tick the IF works, choose Full or First N days.
- Press Start and confirm. When it finishes, download the log and look at anything skipped.
Frequently asked questions
Why only IF works?
Attendance for the other work categories is taken through the NMMS mobile app. On the portal’s Muster Roll Attendance Only page it is the IF (individual) works, such as IAY houses, whose attendance is filled by hand.
Which muster rolls does it fill?
Only those whose period has ended. A muster roll still running (the portal says No Future Dates) is skipped with that reason, and so is one without workers or without a Work Start Date — it never makes one up.
What does N days mean?
Every listed worker is marked present on the first N days of the muster roll and absent after that. If N is more than the muster roll’s days, it is full attendance.
Does it add or remove workers?
No. It only sets the attendance boxes of the workers the portal lists, checks every box again right before Save, and saves nothing if anything differs.
