Frozen accounts are used for wage payments. Paste only the list the GP asked you to freeze, and check the results on the portal.

What this tool does

  • Reads the pasted list — job card + name per line, in either order; shows who it read, which Panchayat each belongs to, and which lines it couldn’t read.
  • Searches each card in its own Panchayat — Bank, Post-office and Co-operative Bank lists.
  • Exact match only — ticks just the row with that job card and that name, checks the ticks again, and presses Freeze Account. Then it searches the card again to confirm.
  • Reports everyone — Frozen, Not found, Name differs (with the portal’s name), Can’t freeze (with the account status) or Error (with the portal’s message). Excel download.

How to use it

  1. Install GramG Ninja (button above). In the block login, open Verify and Freeze Worker Account from the menu.
  2. Paste the GP’s list into the panel and check the preview.
  3. Press Start and confirm. When it finishes, download the results and send the not-frozen ones back to the GP.
Keep a person in the loop. Automated entry can make mistakes; the tool assists, it does not replace you. Use at your own responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

What can I paste?

The list as the GP sent it: one person per line with the job card number and the name, in either order. Serial numbers, WhatsApp time stamps and separators are ignored, and a card on one line with the name on the next is paired. A card number that isn’t complete is reported, never guessed.

Who gets frozen?

Only a row whose job card and name both match exactly (ignoring case and spacing). It searches the card in its own Panchayat, in the Bank, Post-office and Co-operative lists, ticks only that row, checks the ticks again and presses Freeze Account.

What about people it cannot freeze?

Nobody is skipped silently. Not found (not in any list — already frozen or no account waiting), Name differs (with the name the portal shows), Can’t freeze (the portal does not allow that account status, e.g. R — verification failed by the bank) or an error with the portal’s message. Download the results as Excel.

Which login?

Verify and Freeze Worker Account is a Programme Officer (block) page. Each job card’s own Panchayat is chosen from the card number.
