What the IAY activity automation does

Each house under State Scheme House for Individual needs its activity line before it can go to allocation, muster roll or DPR freeze. By hand that means, for every house: pick the work, type the activity code, find the right activity in a list of ten look-alikes, type the price and quantity, and press Save. The bookmark does that for every house in the panchayat:

  • Skips what's done — a house that already has the activity is left alone.
  • Picks exactly the right activity — typing ACT888 lists ACT8881 to ACT8889 as well (fungicide, termiticide, vermicompost…); the tool takes only ACT888 — UN SKILD LABOUR WAGES.
  • Your numbers — 300 × 90 = ₹27,000 by default; change the code, price or quantity in the panel. It checks the portal's total matches before saving.
  • Checks every save — after Save it confirms the line is on the work; if the answer is unclear it opens the work again and looks before doing anything else.
  • A log you can keep — time, work code, house, lines before, action and result, as a CSV that opens in Excel.
  • Counts, nothing else — one hit per saved line with the GP, scheme (work) and activity code, for the total above.

How to use it

  1. Add the bookmark — drag the 🥷 IAY Activity button above to your bookmarks bar (once).
  2. Sign in to the VB-G RAM G portal at panchayat level and open IAY Houses activity and material.
  3. Click the IAY Activity bookmark. The GramG Ninja panel opens on the right.
  4. Check Activity code (ACT888), Unit price (300) and Quantity (90), then press Start and confirm. Keep the tab open; you can Stop any time and Resume later.
  5. When it finishes, it offers to take you to the 4A Automator for the Work Demand.
Keep a person in the loop. Automated entry can make mistakes; the tool assists, it does not replace you. Check the results on the portal. Use at your own responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

What does the IAY activity automation do?

On the VB-G RAM G “IAY Houses activity and material” page it opens every work in Select work. If the work does not already have the activity (ACT888 UN SKILD LABOUR WAGES by default), it types the activity code, picks exactly that activity, fills Unit Price and Quantity, and presses Save — the same steps you would do by hand.

Why do houses need an activity line?

The page itself says it: activity and material details are mandatory, and a work without them is not available for Allocation, Muster Roll or Material entry. The Freeze DPR page also shows “There is no Activity and Material” for such works.

Can I change the price, quantity or activity?

Yes. The panel starts with ACT888 at 300 × 90 = 27,000, and you can change the activity code, unit price and quantity before you press Start. The panel shows the total for each new line, and the tool checks that the portal calculates the same total before it saves.

Will it add the activity twice?

No. It reads the lines already saved for each work and skips any work that already has the activity. If a Save answer is unclear, it opens the work again and checks before moving on — it never presses Save twice on a guess.

Why doesn’t the page reload while it runs?

This portal page reloads fully on every change, which would wipe a bookmark tool. So the tool sends the page’s own requests in the background, one step at a time, exactly as a click would. The page you see stays still, and a portal pop-up can’t stop the run.

Does it send any of my data anywhere?

Only a count. After each activity line it actually saves, it sends one hit with the GP code, the scheme (work) code and the activity code — all public on the portal — so this page can show how many lines have been added by all users. No house owner, registration number, login or password is sent.

Is it official?

No. This is an independent tool by VisionTech, part of the GramG Ninja family. It is not a government product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NIC or the Ministry of Rural Development. It only does what you would do yourself, in your own signed-in session.
