Madam/ Sir,
It has been decided to introduce EPF for all the contractual employees under Mahatma Gandhi MGNREGA with effect from 01/12/2018.This involves all employees in the MGNREGA set up at the State, District, Block and Gram Panchayat level and includes the STPs and VLEs.
In terms of eligibility, all contractual employees under MGNREGA are to be covered. However, the contributions would be calculated on the basis of the maximum wage ceiling of Rs.15000. 00 of which 12 percent would be the contributions in the PF account of the employee. Employer’s contribution would be as per provision of extant rules.
All employees are to submit a consent letter stating her/his willingness to come under the scheme.
The employee details are to be submitted as per the attached format. Please note that while filling the format, the details are to be given as per the data available in AADHAR card.
Please ensure the filled up formats along with the consent letters are sent to this end, both in PDF (signed copy) as well as in excel sheet at the earliest. The forwarding to be signed by District Magistrate and District Nodal Officer, NREGA has to sign on all the pages of the format with his seal for all the employees.

- Information in Column Numbers 7, 8, 10,11,13,15 are to be filled up as per in Applicants Aadhaar.
- All information must be filled up correctly, otherwise UAN will not be allotted to the member.
