In order to strengthen the implementation of MGNREGS, adequate staff needs to be placed at Gram Panchayat, Block, District and State level. The Ministry of Rural Development is currently in the process of analyzing the MGNREGA Human Resource structure available with the State and identify the MGNREGA human resource requirement at various levels which will help in rationalizing staffing structure for better implementation of the program.
